Definition of production:-

   

 

        

:- Production are manufacture by the transformation of row materials in to finished goods 

  

                    Or

:- Converts the  row material in to a finished are semi finished goods .

 Components of production management are :-

Production planning :-

                 

                               Production planning is a pre - production activity .It is the pre - determination of manufacturing requirement such as :- 1. man , 2. Machine , 3. Material , 4. Money , 5. Manufacturing process / method.

So production planning is the determinant facilities necessary for future production. It represents the i. Design of production , ii. Apart from planning resources . iii. It is going to organize the production .

Production Control :- 

                        Production control will be an action when production activity begins . Control keep the track of activity and See's whether every thing is going as per schedule are not . Subdividing the master schedule into manufacturing and subsidiary order .

Steps involve in production planning & control :-
